Have you ever tried to read a book that was so poorly edited as to be unreadable? Do you see how the word “illegible” might have been used in the previous sentence, but would have communicated a different meaning?
Editing encompasses more than just proofreading. It includes suggesting how something might be expressed more clearly or explained better. Or how a sentence structure might be changed so that the reader doesn’t stumble over it.
There many things a spellchecker won’t catch.
I only edit books on subjects with which I have both familiarity and interest. That maximizes my effectiveness at being more than just a proofreader. Those subject areas include
· Personal Finance
· Free-market Economics
· Liberty / Libertarian
· Self-improvement / Personal Development
· Conspiracy Theory
· Second Amendment
Subject areas in addition to those listed above will be considered.
Authors (or organizations) for whom I have edited work or made editorial suggestions include
· Kevin Jackson
· Lisa Miller
· Colleen Gallagher
· Ric Edelman
· Dinesh D’Souza
· The Babylon Bee
· S. A. Clark
· Melissa Jones

Brian was over-the-top exceptional in offering edits to my already published books. In one book I had two previous editors look through it and Brian still found some key mistakes. In another book Brian found a key mistake that my publisher missed in formatting. He was so reliable, great communication, and found errors that a lot of other people missed -- people who have been in this profession for nearly a decade. I am so grateful Brian read through my books. He really reads them and unifies himself with the story or thoughts being shared! I highly recommend him for your project and I am so thankful Brian.
